Jul 30, 2010 - Thanks for checking it out! I'm not too worried about it as I have seen many, many people (2 on the wires)in high winds actually go one step further and stand on the actual sides of the hull while on the trap. I always stand on the top edge which is incredibly strong. It's the part that holds the shrouds so you know it's strong. Plus, if i destroy the boat, I will be getting an AHCP Viper. The boat is so solid for an '87 it will be a while.

Jul 30, 2010 - you may never run into a problem with it. You look light to me and thats a BIG plus!I am a bigger guy so I am self conscious about it. 6'3" and 280 pounds. Do I really need to trap then...........:) HEHEHE Go get um man and have a blast. Nothing like a Hobie 16

Jul 29, 2010 - nice video man!! cant wait to get my hobie. One thing I have been told to use the rails when on the trap. Can cause the hulls to have soft spots if you use it to much.Just a tip from one HC'er to another.
